Voice recordings and check-ins are stored entirely on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them with it. This is by design — your data never leaves your phone — but it means there is no backup we can restore from. The Brotherhood Feed posts you submitted are still on Supabase and linked to your old anonymous ID, but with no signup we can't tie a new install to an old account.
No. besda uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. Your audio never reaches our servers and never reaches Apple. If the app or your phone is destroyed, the recordings go with it.
Try a force-quit (swipe up + swipe the besda card away in the App Switcher) and re-open. If it still doesn't respond, email elkabesu@gmail.com with your iPhone model and iOS version.
Open besda → Settings (gear icon, top right of Home) → Delete all my data. Type "DELETE" to confirm. This wipes every check-in, Circuit Breaker session, voice memo, and ritual record from your device permanently.
No. besda is a regulation tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you're managing a mental health condition, keep working with your doctor or therapist — besda is meant to support that, not replace it.
